Chest Protection Notice

As of today the mod that protects chests with signs is no longer on the server.
We have replaced it with Lockette.

There are some commands associated with this addon but I think it will be WELL worth it.

Chests
Basic no command lock: Hold a sign, right click the chest to be locked.
You can add a second sign to a double chest and it will default add everyone to more users

Tho this is irrelevant to the server it also protects chests from explosions like TNT and creepers.

Manually adding signs
Place a sign in on the ground by a chest and type in the following
[private]
<your name>

NOTE: YOUR NAME IS CASE SENSITIVE! So if your name is CrAzYnAmE then you have to type it like that.
DO NOT protect Enderchests. They are already private for you and I have heard using Lockette may break them.
This also works for Furnaces, Jukeboxes, Enchanting Tables and Dispensers.

Add More Users
Place a sign on other side on the ground by a double chest and type in the following
[More Users]
<name>

You can add up to 6 people on both signs

You can place the sign on any side of the chest. Front, sides and back and it will apply itself to the chest.


Doors
The same applies for doors. You can add it in front of the door or above the door.
Do the same as double chests for double doors

Another great feature for doors is you can put them on a timer to remain open

To do this type in (under your name)

[Timer:<time in seconds>]

Sometimes a door will get stuck in the open position. To fix this look at the door and type
/lockette fix

Iron Doors
The same thing works for iron doors but there are a few things to note. Doing this will make the iron door work like a wooden door. Just right click to open it. This will also nullify levers, pressure plates and any other ways to open an iron door.

Trapdoors
Same commands as a door


Editing Lines
Right click the sign while not holding a sign (may have to be empty hand).
To add more users type
/lockette <line to edit> <name>

To remove a line type
/lockette <line to edit>
